At SourceAmerica, we advocate for a more accessible and inclusive future of work for people of differing abilities and amplify the voices of people with disabilities across the country. During our 2024 Grassroots Advocacy Conference, self-advocates, nonprofit leaders, and policy experts gathered in Washington, D.C. to discuss issues that affect disability employment and advocate for increased opportunities for people with disabilities. One key segment of the conference was the Celebration of Stories, a powerful session where self-advocates took center stage to share their employment experiences, interests, personal journeys, and how the AbilityOne Program has impacted their lives. We were honored to host the self-advocates, applaud their hard work, and celebrate their achievements!
