Valentino Corbett

Valentino Corbett is nominated for the Honor Roll for Veterans Award. Corbett is a locksmith II for PRIDE Industries at Fort Rucker in Alabama. He plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of more than 400 buildings – managing an estimated 2,000 locks. Corbett retired as a First Sergeant (E7) after more than 20 years in the U.S. Army, serving as a military police officer in diverse and demanding environments. His problem-solving abilities allow him to assess challenges quickly, remain calm under pressure, implement effective solutions, and empower others to do the same. Corbett earned his Alabama State Locksmith License and completed GSA Authorized Safe and Vault Tech training, which allowed PRIDE to keep a key contract requirement in-house. Corbett is also deeply committed to serving his community, including organizing Toys for Tots drives, bike giveaways for children, highway cleanups, charity walks supporting disease research, and preparing meals for first responders.
