Shantrell Mansfield is nominated for the Honor Roll for Veterans Award. Mansfield is a U.S. Navy veteran who now answers calls from the military, civilians, and contractors for the Army Training Help Desk at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Newport News, Virginia. Mansfield is a help desk agent for ServiceSource working on a mission-essential, 24-7 operation. Using her military experience, she handles calls with utmost attention to detail and establishes excellent rapport with military personnel. Mansfield has severe asthma, a service-connected disability that requires breathing treatments during the workday. While providing outstanding customer service every day, she also brings infectious energy and positivity to the workplace. Mansfield continues to develop herself as a leader and embraces new challenges. After completing her master's degree in 2024, she is now part of a mentorship program to become a supervisor and is pursuing certifications such as Security+ to further advance her career.
