Implemented a quality framework to increase organizational cohesion and promote inclusion

  • Staff or consultant with knowledge of quality framework development, implementation, and management

Implementation

Process

  • The organizations management team researched and decided on a quality framework called the Process Based Leadership (PBL) System
  • The PBL System provides and includes the following:
    • Promotes inclusion through communication
    • Focuses on key objective areas for the company, developing an action item for each objective
    • Creates time frames identifies staff responsibilities
    • Scorecards and action registers are developed and reviewed weekly, with updates made as necessary
    • Each team develops non-negotiable terms that become the minimum standard for business processes
  • Every department in the organization participates, developing department scorecards that correlate to the global organizational scorecard
  • Senior management meets weekly to review the PBL and each department meets monthly

Documentation

  • SOPs
    • Policies and procedures for the PBL system, including how to develop, implement, and monitor
  • Training
    • All staff levels need training on the PBL system to understand its purpose and how to use it

Outcomes/Results

Individual

  • Staff become integrated in the total company communication system and feel part of the whole organization, not just their department
  • Staff feel heard and have input in company goals and development

Organizational

  • Culture development is enhanced
  • Increased productivity and satisfaction
  • Overall organizational goals are improved through individual input
  • All employees are on the same track and understand the direction of the company
  • The PBL processes help establish exemplary conformance for CARF accreditation
