Management Practice: Community Partnerships (new)

QWE Practice Area: Partner with organizations and peers in thelocal community (310)

PARC has a long history of community involvement that crosses city, county and state lines; it regularly reaches the nation's capital as its chief executive officer is deeply involved with SourceAmerica, AbilityOne and the NCWC. Contingents from PARC regularly participate in SourceAmerica's Grassroots efforts. PARC has received SourceAmerica's highest honors, including the Villines and Usdane awards. PARC lobbied Utah's senators and congressmen to become AbilityOne champions. Locally, PARC has a well-worn footprint across northern Utah and is a leader in community job placements and contract work. PARC has a partnership with United Way, various service clubs, the state association of CRPs and has its own Community Partnership Foundation Board.
