SourceAmerica Extends National Achievement Awards Deadline

Vienna, Virginia – Oct. 25, 2013: SourceAmerica™, a national nonprofit organization committed to creating employment opportunities for people with significant disabilities, has extended its National Achievement Awards submission deadline to November 15, 2013, due to the impact of the recent government shutdown on AbilityOne® employees, staff, nonprofit agencies, federal customers and community partners.
The National Achievement Awards program recognizes employees and other individuals, customers, programs and communities that demonstrate outstanding support of SourceAmerica or the AbilityOne Program and people with significant disabilities. The awards will be presented at the National Training and Achievement Conference May 5-7, 2014, at the Hilton Bayfront, San Diego, CA.
The awards program offers an opportunity to recognize five of the most outstanding employees with disabilities that have employment through the SourceAmerica Network of more than 1,000 nonprofit agencies. Thirteen awards are also presented to the federal agencies, nonprofit organizations and private organizations committed to making a difference in their communities and in the lives of people with significant disabilities.
To register and submit a nomination, visit, or for more information contact Linda Madden at 571-226-4586.
